Day 1: Bangkok – Samut Songkran – Hua Hin [L,– ]

After morning pick-up from the main hotels in Bangkok, we set out southwest towards the seaside town of Hua Hin. Our first stop brings us to Mae Klong Talad Rom Hoob, home to the extraordinary Railway Market, where vendors set up their stalls directly on the tracks. As the train approaches, the market transforms in seconds, with awnings pulled back and displays moved aside, only to be swiftly reassembled once the train has passed, a truly remarkable sight. We then continue to Samut Songkhram province, a charming area dotted with canal-side wooden houses, inviting coffee shops, and local eateries. Here, we board a traditional long-tail boat to discover life along the waterways before arriving at Wat Bang Kung, one of the country’s most mystical temples. Dating back to the Ayutthaya era, this sacred site is enveloped by the roots of a centuries-old banyan tree, creating a spiritual and unforgettable atmosphere. After a stop for lunch at a local restaurant, the journey proceeds to the historic Phra Nakhon Khiri Palace, known locally as Khao Wang. Perched on a verdant 95-meter-high hill with three peaks, this former royal summer residence was built under the command of King Rama IV and completed in 1860. By late afternoon, we arrive in the coastal city of Hua Hin for hotel check-in. In the evening, guests may explore the lively night markets or dine at one of the many inviting local restaurants. Overnight in Hua Hin.

Day 2: Hua Hin – Sam Roi Yot – Chumphon [B, L, D]

After breakfast at the hotel, the day begins with a journey into the natural beauty of Sam Roi Yot National Park, a coastal gem famed for its limestone mountains and lush scenery. We board a local boat for a short ride across the tranquil waters, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and mangrove forests, before beginning the hike to the legendary Phraya Nakhon Cave. The trail winds its way up through forested paths and rocky terrain until we reach the cavern itself, one of the most iconic sights in Thailand. Here, a royal pavilion stands gracefully beneath the cave’s towering ceiling, where openings in the rock allow shafts of sunlight to pour in, illuminating the structure and casting magical beams across the chamber. It is a scene that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. We then pause for lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Thai flavors, before continuing our journey to Wat Tang Sai. This beautiful Buddhist temple, perched atop Thongchai Mountain, commands sweeping views of the coastline and is dedicated to the Thai royal family. Its ornate architecture, gilded details, and serene atmosphere make it a truly inspiring stop. In the afternoon, we proceed southward toward Chumphon, traveling through a striking countryside of palm groves, rubber tree plantations, and fields of pineapple that reflect the agricultural heart of the region. The scenic drive offers a glimpse of rural Thai life, with lush greenery and endless tropical landscapes unfolding along the way. Upon arrival in Chumphon, we check in at the hotel and later gather for a relaxing thai dinner, included at the resort. Overnight in Chumphon.

Day 3: Chumphon – Chew Lan Lake – Khao Lak [B, L, –]

After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey southward with a morning departure. Along the way, we stop at the scenic Khao Matsee Viewpoint, where sweeping panoramas stretch across Chumphon and its surrounding coastline, a perfect opportunity to capture the beauty of this coastal province. The journey then takes us to Phra Borom That Chaiya, an ancient and revered chedi believed to enshrine sacred Buddha relics, making it one of the most important religious landmarks in Southern Thailand. From here, we travel onward to the emerald waters of Cheow Lan Lake, a breathtaking reservoir framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and dense jungle. Boarding a traditional wooden boat, we glide across the lake’s calm surface before arriving at a floating restaurant, where a delicious Thai lunch awaits, accompanied by stunning views of the surrounding karst scenery. In the afternoon, we return to the mainland and continue our drive through picturesque southern landscapes until reaching Khao Lak, a serene coastal town known for its golden beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel. Overnight in Khao Lak.

Day 4: Khao Lak – Khao Sok National Park – Khao Lak [B, L, – ]

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for a day of discovery in Khao Sok National Park, one of Thailand’s most treasured natural sanctuaries. Here, we meet with an experienced local guide who will lead us on a gentle trek through the lush jungle to the picturesque Bang Hua Rad Waterfall. This scenic walk offers the chance to immerse yourself in the park’s pristine nature, surrounded by towering trees, exotic flora, and the soothing sounds of the forest. Following the trek, we pause to enjoy a leisurely lunch with panoramic views at the Mountain View Resort, nestled within the park. The adventure continues with a tranquil bamboo rafting experience along the river, where the gentle current and serene atmosphere provide a moment of pure relaxation. In the afternoon, we conclude our day with a memorable visit to an Elephant Sanctuary. Here, we learn about the vital work being done to care for elephants rescued from captivity, observe them in their natural surroundings, and even participate in feeding these gentle giants, a heartwarming encounter that fosters respect and connection with Thailand’s most iconic animal. After this enriching experience, we return to our hotel in Khao Lak. Overnight in Khao Lak.

Day 5: Khao Lak – Phuket [B, – , – ]

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Phuket Airport for your onward flight. Alternatively, extend your journey with a transfer to your chosen hotel in Phuket to continue your holiday with a relaxing beach stay.
