Day 1: Bangkok – Hintok River Camp [L, D]
This historical exploration tour takes us to Kanchanaburi province to absorb this region’s wartime history. We take in the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum dedicated to the history of the ‘death railway’ which ran 415 km from Ban Pong in Thailand to Thanbuyuzayat in Burma. This link was built by Allied prisoners of war and Asian labourers forced by the Japanese Army to undertake this mammoth task in extremely hostile conditions. We also visit the Allied War Cemetery, the resting-place for over 6,000 prisoners, as well as the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai. We then head to the resort for check-in and lunch. We visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial and Museum which is dedicated to Allied prisoners of war and Asian labourers who were forced to build the Thailand to Burma ‘death railway’ in extremely harsh conditions during World War Two. After viewing the exhibits in this excellent museum and its many audio-visual displays, we walk along the original railway cutting known as Hellfire Pass which was one of the most difficult sections of rock to cut through, but it is now a haven of peace and serenity. Later on in the afternoon, we take a mountain bike ride along jungle trails to local villages and farms. Dinner and overnight at Hintok River Camp.
Day 2: Hintok River Camp – River Kwai Resotel [B, L, D]
An enjoyable early morning cycle ride takes us to a temple so we can make ‘merit’ by donating food to monks. We then take a long-tail boat ride to visit an ethnic Mon tribal village. Afterwards, continue riding by long-tail boat to River Kwai Resotel for check-in and lunch. Afternoon is at leisure. Dinner is followed by a 45-minute traditional and colourful Mon dance display. Overnight at River Kwai Resotel
Day 3: River Kwai Resotel – Bangkok [B, L]
The morning is at leisure. After check-out, we take an exciting long-tail boat ride down the River Kwai, lunch at a local restaurant followed by a journey on the ‘death railway,’ the actual train link built by Allied prisoners during World War Two. We then head back to Bangkok and transfer to our respective hotels.

INCLUSION INSURANCE IN COMBINED TRAVEL RESERVATIONS
With regard to our inclusion insurance, said insurance exclusively includes those people who have their residence and origin of the trip in Spain or Portugal.
CHAPTER I (Obligations of information and content of the combined travel contract), Article 153 (Pre-contractual information), point 1, section H:
"1. Before the traveler is bound by any package travel contract or corresponding offer, the organizer, and also the retailer, when the package is sold through the latter, will provide the traveler with the form with the standard information regarding to the package trip that appears in annex II, A or B, as well as the following information that is applicable to the package trip:
"h) Information on the subscription of an optional insurance that covers the expenses originated in the event that the traveler decides to terminate the contract or the expenses of assistance, including those of repatriation, in case of accident, illness or death."
Said section refers to the obligation to inform the client of the possibility of contracting insurance, not to the obligation to include insurance on the trip, that is, the client has the power (option) to contract insurance with the agency or not. . The agency has the obligation to inform that it is recommended that the client take out insurance that includes, at least, issues such as repatriation,... which is basically inclusion insurance.
Once the agency informs the client about the recommendation to contract insurance for the trip, it is the client who can contract insurance with the agency, or contract it directly with whoever they want.
