Bogotá, with its cool climate and traditional dishes like ajiaco, bandeja paisa, and empanadas, is a melting pot of Andean flavors and musical diversity. Cali, the salsa capital, offers delights like sancocho de gallina, empanadas vallunas, and the refreshing lulada, while salsa fills the streets with energy. Cartagena, in the Caribbean, stands out for its shrimp ceviche, arepas de huevo, and coconut rice, accompanied by a vibrant Caribbean music scene.

Day 1. Bogotá: Arrival & Visit to Andrés Carne de Res

Arrival at El Dorado International Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in and accommodation.

In the evening, party at Andrés Carne de Res Chía (outside the city): Undoubtedly, this is the most iconic place in Bogotá when it comes to great nightlife and gastronomy. It combines music, people, food, and drinks in one of the best atmospheres, making it a special and unparalleled place.

Day 2. Bogotá: City Tour & Monserrate (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, Pick-up will be carried out at the hotel lobby. When looking up from any point in the city, it is impossible not to notice that hill which, from its 3,152 meters above sea level, watches over Bogotá. Monserrate is the quintessential symbol of Bogotá, not only as a natural landmark but also for its religious character, whose sanctuary has been visited by millions of pilgrims and travelers since its foundation in 1640. We return and begin a panoramic tour of Bogotá’s historic center, also known as “La Candelaria,” where we will visit the Gold Museum to learn about nearly 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian objects. Afterwards, we will visit the Mint House and the Botero Donation, where works by the internationally renowned Colombian master Fernando Botero are exhibited in different artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. The tour will end with a panoramic tour of the surroundings of Plaza de Bolívar (Primatial Cathedral, Casa de Nariño, Liévano Palace, and Palace of Justice). Return to the hotel.

Day 3. Bogotá: Visit to Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral & Monserrate (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time,Pick-up at the hotel lobby. We will depart to the town of Zipaquirá, located 50 km from Bogotá, heading north through the area known as the “Bogotá Savanna.” Once in the town, we will visit the Salt Cathedral, built inside a mine at a depth of 180 meters, considered one of the most important wonders of Colombia and a great work of engineering and religious art. Return to the hotel.

Day 4. Bogotá: Departure to Cali & City Tour (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to El Dorado International Airport to take a flight (not included) to Cali (it is recommended to take a flight before 8:00 am). Arrival and reception at Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport. Check-in at the selected accommodation.

We begin the tour by immersing ourselves in salsa culture with a visit to the Monument to Grupo Niche. Then, we’ll take a pleasant walk along the Boulevard del Río, a place that not only offers views of the mountains but also allows you to feel the pulse of urban life and appreciate the architecture of La Ermita Church and the Ortiz Bridge. We’ll continue our journey to La Merced Church, the place where Cali was founded, full of history and meaning. We’ll enter the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio, home to the city’s second-oldest church, built in 1747. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Next, we head to the Gato del Río and the picturesque Novias del Gato Park, a place full of charm and mystery, with an intriguing history, before stopping at La Palabra Cali.

The experience culminates at a picturesque artisan shop, where you can purchase special souvenirs and enjoy a delicious typical snack from the region.

Day 5. Cali: Visit to Buga & a Hacienda of Your Choice (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, Pick-up at the hotel lobby. Passengers have the option to choose between visiting Providencia Ecological Park or Hacienda El Paraíso before getting to know Buga.

Providencia Ecological Park is made up of two main areas:

  • Piedechinche: A typical colonial hacienda from Valle del Cauca, where you can enjoy the Sugarcane Museum, with an interactive tour of the sugar production process and the history of sugarcane in the region.
  • Sugarcane Museum: Offers a tour through different stations that display traditional sugar mills from various regions of Colombia. This experience allows visitors to understand the evolution of these machines over time and their value in the country’s agricultural history, all within a spectacular natural setting surrounded by birds, majestic trees, flower gardens, and streams that create a calm and charming atmosphere.

On the other hand, Hacienda El Paraíso: Famous for its architecture and gardens, this 19th-century hacienda was the setting for the novel María by Jorge Isaacs. After the visit to the hacienda, we will have lunch and then head to Buga, where we will explore the Centenary Basilica of the Lord of Miracles, with time to purchase religious items. Return to the hotel.

The Granada neighborhood, on the other hand, is perfect for those looking for designer shops with exclusive items. In the south, Unicentro and Jardín Plaza offer a comfortable and modern shopping experience.

INCLUSION INSURANCE IN COMBINED TRAVEL RESERVATIONS


With regard to our inclusion insurance, said insurance exclusively includes those people who have their residence and origin of the trip in Spain or Portugal.


CHAPTER I (Obligations of information and content of the combined travel contract), Article 153 (Pre-contractual information), point 1, section H:


"1. Before the traveler is bound by any package travel contract or corresponding offer, the organizer, and also the retailer, when the package is sold through the latter, will provide the traveler with the form with the standard information regarding to the package trip that appears in annex II, A or B, as well as the following information that is applicable to the package trip:

Said section refers to the obligation to inform the client of the possibility of contracting insurance, not to the obligation to include insurance on the trip, that is, the client has the power (option) to contract insurance with the agency or not. . The agency has the obligation to inform that it is recommended that the client take out insurance that includes, at least, issues such as repatriation,... which is basically inclusion insurance.


Once the agency informs the client about the recommendation to contract insurance for the trip, it is the client who can contract insurance with the agency, or contract it directly with whoever they want.
