A unique opportunity to discover Sicily and Malta, two enchanting Mediterranean islands! On this 5-day tour package departing from Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, you embark on an unforgettable journey where history, nature and culture merge seamlessly.

In Sicily, you will visit many unique destinations, from the breathtaking views of Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, to the historic streets of Savoca and Taormina, where the world-renowned "Godfather" movie was filmed. Siracusa, which carries the traces of the ancient city, and the cosmopolitan Catania are also indispensable stops in the program.

In the second part of the tour, you will be captivated by the magic of Malta and the neighboring Gozo Island. The filming locations of Game of Thrones, the Mosta Church with Europe's third largest dome, the historic Mdina and the capital Valetta will take you deep into history.

After entering from Gate 3 of Istanbul Airport, meeting our valued guests in front of the THY international departures F counter (counters 1-27) at 04:15 for meeting and check-in procedures. Departure to Catania at 08:10 with THY's TK1393 flight. Arrival in Catania at 08:35 local time.

We take our panoramic tour with our waiting vehicle. Afterwards, we start our Etna tour. On the way to Etna, we have the chance to take magnificent photos of Mount Etna, which embraces us with its vegetation and scenery.

On our way, we will see Silvestri, the second crater at 1800 meters on Etna, which is Europe's highest active volcanic mountain. Don't forget to take the smoking rock fragments as souvenirs! In the region formed by the lava of Mount Etna, our tour will end with many landscapes where we can take photos. Afterwards, return to our hotel.

After breakfast, at the time determined by our guide, we start our full-day tour. During our Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos tour, we will see the places where the world-famous "Godfather" movie was filmed. Afterwards, Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church are among the places we will see.

After passing through cinematic streets, we move to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and the most beautiful coastal town of Sicily. At the foot of the magnificent Mount Tauro, we visit this charming town, its streets, souvenir shops, and avenues.

Next, we pass to Giardini Naxos, famous for its volcanic beach and colorful streets. In this cultural mosaic, which was settled by Greeks in the 6th century BC and then inhabited by Phoenicians and Romans, you can take wonderful photos. At the end of the tour, return to our hotel.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel for a full-day Siracusa tour. In Siracusa, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we visit the following places:

  • Arethusa Fountain
  • Cathedral
  • Diana Fountain
  • Temple of Apollo

Then return to Catania. Among the places we will see panoramically in the city center of Catania:

  • Duomo Cathedral
  • Fontana dell'Elefante
  • Piazza Repubblica (Republic Square)
  • Via Etnea

After some free time, transfer to our hotel.

After breakfast, we hand over our room keys at reception, complete our check-out, and head to Catania Airport. Departure to Malta at 07:35 with Air Malta flight KM641, arrival at 08:15.

After hotel check-in, we start the Gozo tour with your guide. We cross to Gozo Island by ferry from Cirkewwa Harbor. In Gozo, known for its green nature, the places to visit:

  • Dwejra – an area that hosted films like Troy, Gladiator, Game of Thrones
  • T'Pino Church – a pilgrimage site
  • Xelendi – free time in the fishing village; opportunity to taste local products like honey, carob, liqueur, and cheese
  • Victoria Rabat – see St. George's Basilica and stroll the streets

At the end of the tour, return to Malta from Mgarr Harbor and transfer to our hotel.

  • International Departure Tax: The departure tax payable when leaving Turkey is not included in the package. This fee can be paid to the relevant banks or at the finance counter in the airport.
  • Lunch and Dinner: Only breakfast is included in the accommodation price throughout the tour program. Lunch and dinner are at the participants' own discretion and budget. There are various restaurants and dining options in the destinations to be visited.
  • City Taxes: City taxes collected directly from guests by hotels during the stay are not included in the package. This tax is paid at the hotel according to the rates set by the relevant city authorities.
  • Domestic Connection Flights: Domestic connection flights used by participants arriving from cities other than Istanbul to reach Istanbul Airport are not included in the package.
  • Schengen Visa Fee: Since Italy and Malta are in the Schengen area, a Schengen visa is required for travel. Visa application fee and related procedures are the responsibility of the participants.
  • Travel Protection Package: The travel protection package, including cancellation insurance, is not included in the price. It is advised that participants purchase this protection separately.
  • Additional Fee for Guests Aged 70 and Over: A 100% surcharge is applied for guests aged 70 and over. Considering this, participants in this age group are advised to take the additional cost into account before booking.

  • Pricing: All prices are calculated per person in a double room. Different pricing is applied for single rooms and extra bed options. It is strongly recommended that current prices are checked before purchase.
  • Air Malta Cancellation Penalty: In case of a cancellation request for reservations made, a penalty fee for Air Malta flights will apply regardless of any cancellation period. This penalty varies between 75 – 125 EUR. Therefore, it is recommended to carefully consider the conditions before making a reservation decision.
  • Catania – Malta Flight Alternatives: In case of operational disruptions on flights between Catania and Malta, ferry service will be provided as an alternative transition option.
  • Italy Hotel Standards: It should be noted that hotel standards in Italy may be below those in Turkey. Even if the star category is the same, room size, equipment, and service quality may vary.
  • Hotel Check-in and Check-out Times: Hotel check-in times are 15:00 – 17:00, and check-out times are between 10:00 – 12:00. Requests for early check-in or late check-out outside these hours may be subject to an extra charge by the hotel.
  • Hotel Notification Period: If more than one hotel option is offered in the same destination and/or only the hotel category is specified, the accommodation hotels will be notified to you 48 hours before the tour departure date.
  • Hotel Change: Due to occupancy, hotels may change; however, the hotel category will not change. There will be no accommodation in a hotel below the reserved category.
  • Room Type: Some hotels may offer twin beds (TWIN). Requests for a change in room type during hotel accommodation are at the discretion of the hotel management; this request is not guaranteed.
  • Price Check: It is strongly recommended to confirm current prices before making a purchase. Prices may be updated periodically.

Tal confirmación se obtendrá, solamente, una vez Haiku Dinámico reciba el precio íntegro de la reserva a través de la agencia minorista seleccionada por el Usuario de entre las asociadas a Haiku Dinámico.

Por lo que, ante estas situaciones, la mayorista se reserva el derecho de no aceptar dichas reservas, teniéndose que confirmar el precio y la disponibilidad de dichas plazas expresamente por la misma y tras la cotización de las plazas y los precios a través del departamento de grupos.



SEGURO DE INCLUSIÓN EN LAS RESERVAS VIAJES COMBINADOS


En lo que respecta a nuestro seguro de inclusión, dicho seguro incluye exclusivamente a aquellas personas que tienen su residencia y origen del viaje en España o Portugal.


CAPÍTULO I (Obligaciones de información y contenido del contrato de viaje combinado), Artículo 153 (Información precontractual.), punto 1, apartado H:


"1. Antes de que el viajero quede obligado por cualquier contrato de viaje combinado u oferta correspondiente, el organizador, y también el minorista, cuando el viaje combinado se venda a través de este último, proporcionarán al viajero el formulario con la información normalizada relativa al viaje combinado que figura en el anexo II, A o B, así como la siguiente información que resulte aplicable al viaje combinado:

"h) Información sobre la suscripción de un seguro facultativo que cubra los gastos originados en caso de que el viajero decida poner fin al contrato o los gastos de asistencia, incluidos los de repatriación, en caso de accidente, enfermedad o fallecimiento."


Dicho apartado hace referencia a la obligación de informar al cliente la posibilidad de contratar un seguro, no a la obligación de incluir un seguro en el viaje, es decir, el cliente tiene la facultad (opción) de contratar o no con la agencia un seguro. La agencia tiene la obligación de informar que es recomendable que el cliente contrate un seguro que le incluya, al menos, temas como repatriación,... lo que básicamente es el seguro de inclusión.


Una vez que la agencia informa al cliente sobre la recomendación de contratar un seguro para el viaje, ya es el cliente quien puede contratar un seguro con la agencia, o que lo contrate el directamente con quien quiera.
