Day 2

This excursion combines the history and the breathtaking October landscapes that make Route 259 a truly unique destination. It is the scenic road connecting Esquel, Trevelin, and the border with Chile.

The tour begins at 9:30 AM as we head to the Tulip Fields, where thousands of blooming tulips transform the landscape into a vibrant display of colors during October. The bright spring sky and snow-capped mountain peaks create the perfect setting for unforgettable photographs.

The journey continues to Nant and Fall Waterfalls , a Protected Natural Area featuring three beautiful waterfalls: Cascada Larga, Mellizas, and La Petiza. The site is explored through an easy, low-difficulty trail suitable for visitors of all ages and fitness levels.

Continuing along the route that leads toward neighboring Chile, we visit Molino Nant Fach, a replica of the traditional flour mills from the early 20th century, when this valley was known for producing high-quality wheat. The museum showcases artifacts that were part of the daily life of the first Welsh settlers in the region.

To conclude the excursion, we visit Viñas Nant y Fall, a family-run winery recognized as a pioneer in the Trevelin Valley, producing wines of exceptional quality. Admission to all the sites mentioned is included.

Dinner at leisure.

Day 3

Day 5

We will begin the day with hotel pickup from Hotel Península in Puerto Madryn, setting off on an unforgettable journey to explore one of the world’s greatest natural treasures: Península Valdés, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After approximately one hour of travel, we arrive at Puerto Pirámides, a charming coastal village where the sea and wildlife take center stage. Here, you will have the opportunity to join a traditional whale-watching boat excursion and experience the thrill of seeing the Southern Right Whale in its natural habitat. (WHALE WATCHING NOT INCLUDED).

Depending on the day and wildlife activity, this visit may be replaced by Punta Norte.

Throughout the journey, Patagonia’s land wildlife will also accompany us: guanacos, choiques, foxes, and maras can often be seen roaming freely, adding unexpected and memorable moments to the experience.

Before returning, we will visit the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, where we will gain a deeper understanding of the richness and diversity of this unique ecosystem.
