Continue to Bali, where magical rice terraces, white sandy beaches and a relaxed island atmosphere await. The experience concludes in Toraja, home to some of the most unique funeral rites in the world. A journey filled with memorable experiences at every step.


TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Yogyakarta: Cultural heart of Java and centre of Javanese traditions. Visit the magnificent Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist monument, and the UNESCO‑listed Prambanan temples. Explore the Sultan’s Palace, Taman Sari Water Palace, and experience vibrant local life at Beringharjo Traditional Market.

Malang: Pleasant highland city known for its cool climate and colonial‑era architecture. Enjoy a scenic journey through East Java landscapes and use Malang as a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding volcanic region, including Mount Bromo.

Mount Bromo: One of Indonesia’s most iconic natural sights. Witness a spectacular sunrise over Mount Bromo, cross the dramatic Sea of Sand by jeep, and admire the surreal volcanic and lunar‑like landscapes with steaming craters.

Ketapang: Rural East Java at its most authentic. Visit Kaliklatak coffee, clove, and spice plantations, walk through traditional Javanese villages, and observe daily rural life. An important gateway port linking Java and Bali.

Ubud: Cultural and spiritual heart of Bali, surrounded by lush rice fields and tropical scenery. Known for temples, artistic villages, and a relaxed atmosphere, Ubud is the gateway to Bali’s rich traditions, crafts, and wellness experiences.

Sanur: Seaside Relaxation & Cultural Excursions. Laid‑back coastal town with calm waters and beachfront charm. Enjoy cultural excursions to Kintamani and Lake Batur, visit Gunung Kawi royal tombs and Tirta Empul holy springs, witness a traditional Barong Dance, and relax with beach or spa time.

Makassar: Historic port city and gateway to Sulawesi and the Toraja Highlands. Visit Fort Rotterdam, explore Paotere Traditional Harbour with its wooden Phinisi boats, and experience a city shaped by strong maritime traditions.

Toraja: Fascinating highland region renowned for unique culture and rituals. Discover traditional Tongkonan houses, dramatic cliff tombs at Lemo, Londa, and Sangalla, scenic villages such as Ke’te Kesu and Batutumonga, and breathtaking mountain and rice‑terrace landscapes.

Day 1: ARRIVAL YOGYAKARTA (45km – 1.5hrs)

Upon arrival at Yogyakarta International Airport, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transferred to visit Borobudur, the famous and magnificent temple built by the Syailendra dynasty in the 9th century and considered the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Dinner is included at the hotel.

Note: Borobudur is accessible except on Mondays, when it can only be visited up to the courtyard area.

Overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 2: YOGYAKARTA

Breakfast at the hotel. The morning is devoted to exploring Yogyakarta, a city rich in culture and history. Visits include the Keraton (Sultan’s Palace), Taman Sari (the Royal Water Castle), and a drive through the traditional Beringharjo Market. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Hindu temple of Prambanan, built in the 10th century, a complex of 240 Shiva temples spread over several square kilometres. Lunch and dinner are included at local restaurants. Return to Yogyakarta.

Note: Prambanan is accessible except on Mondays, when it can only be visited up to the courtyard area.

Overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 3: YOGYAKARTA – MALANG (390 km - 4hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yogyakarta train station and board the Malioboro Express executive morning train to Malang (subject to train schedule availability). The train departs at 07:25 and arrives at 11:23, offering a scenic journey through East Java. Lunch is served on board. Upon arrival in Malang, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Alternative via toll road if the train is not available: After breakfast, drive to Malang via the toll road, approximately 4 hours. Stop in Mojokerto to visit Trowulan, the former capital of the Majapahit Empire (1293–1500 AD). Continue to Malang, check in and overnight.

Day 4: MALANG – KETAPANG (280km – 7hrs)

Breakfast box recommended before departure. Night drive from Malang for the ascent of Mount Bromo. Enjoy the sunrise over the Sea of Sand, surrounded by dramatic volcanic landscapes. Continue by jeep into the caldera, often covered in morning mist. Afterwards, continue the journey to Ketapang. Lunch at a local restaurant en route. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy free time at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Overnight in Ketapang.

Day 5: KETAPANG – UBUD (200km – 7hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and visit coffee, clove and spice plantations in the Kaliklatak region, followed by a walk through a local village to discover daily Javanese life. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the appropriate time, transfer to Ketapang Harbour and cross the Bali Strait by ferry. Upon arrival in Bali, continue the journey to Ubud. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: UBUD - SANUR (30km – 1hr)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a full day of discovery. Visit Besakih Temple, the most important and holiest temple in Bali, located on the slopes of Mount Agung. After lunch, visit Kertha Gosa, the former courthouse featuring traditional Klungkung-style ceiling paintings. Continue with a visit to an Ikat weaving workshop, then drive to the fishing village of Kusamba. Continue to Sanur. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: SANUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Batubulan village to witness the famous Barong dance. Continue to Gunung Kawi to see the royal tombs carved into rock cliffs amidst lush surroundings. Proceed to Kintamani, a mountain village overlooking Mount Batur and its crater lake. Lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views. On the return journey to Sanur, stop at Tirta Empul, the sacred spring temple. Dinner at own expense.

Day 8: SANUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities, relax by the pool, read a book or enjoy your favourite music.

Day 9: SANUR – TORAJA (2hrs by flight, included)

Breakfast at the hotel and free time until transfer to the airport for your flight to Makassar. Upon arrival at Hasanuddin International Airport, meet your guide and continue directly to the Toraja Highlands, known as the “Land of the Heavenly Kings”. The drive passes through mountain landscapes and Bugis villages with traditional stilt houses. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare Pare. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: TORAJA

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day of exploration in Toraja. Visit Lemo cliffs with effigies of the deceased, the royal tombs of Suaya, and Sangalla, featuring a tomb suspended in a tree. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Londa caves with expressive mortuary figurines, and Ke’te Kesu, a traditional Toraja village recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with boat-shaped houses and rice granaries. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: TORAJA

Early breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a full-day excursion to Batutumonga on the slopes of Mount Sesean. Visit stone tombs and walk through villages to observe daily life, with beautiful views of rice fields. In Karuaya village, visit a Toraja house, meet a local family and taste Toraja coffee. Lunch included. Continue to Palawa village, then visit Bori to see ancient megalithic stones, and Marante with its hanging tombs. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: TORAJA – MAKASSAR (320km – 8hrs)

Early breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Makassar. Stop at the traditional Bolu Market en route. Lunch at a local restaurant in Pare Pare. Upon arrival in Makassar, visit the traditional Paotere Harbour and drive past Fort Rotterdam. Check in at the hotel. Dinner included.

Overnight in Makassar.

Day 13: MAKASSAR DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time at leisure before transfer to Hasanuddin International Airport for departure.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Indonesia. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

SEGURO DE INCLUSIÓN EN LAS RESERVAS VIAJES COMBINADOS


En lo que respecta a nuestro seguro de inclusión, dicho seguro incluye exclusivamente a aquellas personas que tienen su residencia y origen del viaje en España o Portugal.


CAPÍTULO I (Obligaciones de información y contenido del contrato de viaje combinado), Artículo 153 (Información precontractual.), punto 1, apartado H:


"1. Antes de que el viajero quede obligado por cualquier contrato de viaje combinado u oferta correspondiente, el organizador, y también el minorista, cuando el viaje combinado se venda a través de este último, proporcionarán al viajero el formulario con la información normalizada relativa al viaje combinado que figura en el anexo II, A o B, así como la siguiente información que resulte aplicable al viaje combinado:

"h) Información sobre la suscripción de un seguro facultativo que cubra los gastos originados en caso de que el viajero decida poner fin al contrato o los gastos de asistencia, incluidos los de repatriación, en caso de accidente, enfermedad o fallecimiento."


Dicho apartado hace referencia a la obligación de informar al cliente la posibilidad de contratar un seguro, no a la obligación de incluir un seguro en el viaje, es decir, el cliente tiene la facultad (opción) de contratar o no con la agencia un seguro. La agencia tiene la obligación de informar que es recomendable que el cliente contrate un seguro que le incluya, al menos, temas como repatriación,... lo que básicamente es el seguro de inclusión.


Una vez que la agencia informa al cliente sobre la recomendación de contratar un seguro para el viaje, ya es el cliente quien puede contratar un seguro con la agencia, o que lo contrate el directamente con quien quiera.
