A vegan option is available, making this experience perfect for all travelers. In the afternoon, continue to Atuntaqui, renowned for its textile heritage. Visit a traditional hat workshop to observe the artisanal process from raw fiber to finished piece. Then explore a tapestry studio where vibrant colors and symbolic Andean designs come to life on working looms. Your journey concludes with a visit to a Calluwa weaving workshop, where ancestral weaving traditions are preserved as a living cultural expression.

Learn about the deep spiritual connection to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Indigenous worldview that honors nature and balance. Continue to the iconic Plaza de los Ponchos, one of Latin America’s most important indigenous markets. Explore vibrant stalls filled with handwoven textiles, ponchos, jewelry, and authentic crafts while experiencing the living Kichwa culture. Next, visit a traditional Andean instrument workshop and discover how charangos, quenas, and zampoñas are handcrafted. Enjoy a short live performance and feel the emotion and history behind Andean music.
